Am looking at a Yanmar 7000, need information as to years these were manufactured. Is this same tractor as a John Deer 1650? Any help will be apprectiated.

My info says this tractor was made from 1981 thru 1984. Do not know if it matches up to JD model. Just curious what is the asking price of this tractor ? ....

Tractor is advertised as low hours and same as 1650 JD. The asking price is $6995.00. I am trying to determine if it is worth the asking price and what kind of headache I would have getting parts for maintenance. ....

Yanmar 7000 specs do appear to match up to a 1650 JD specs. The JD was sold from 84 - 88 and by my records about 2500 of the tractors were sold under the JD name. If the tractor is nice low hours, that is a alot of HP for the price. JD listed the tractor @ about 60 HP. Due to low production and most JD dealers feelings for grey market tractors I wouldn't count on a lot of help from them. ....

Really appreciate the info. 7000 is more tractor than I need. Do you know of anyone with 40 to 50 HP. 4-WD Yanmar? Do they even make such an animal? ....
